The N.C. Division of Marine Fisheries provides grant funding to individuals, private businesses and organizations, universities, and local and state governments to benefit recreational fishing and boating.
Each year the division announces the availability of funding through the Coastal Recreational Fishing License (CRFL) Grant Program and the Boating Infrastructure Grant Program (BIG). The annual funding announcements will detail eligibility information, how to prepare a proposal, the proposal deadline, and other important information.
See links to program pages at right for all the details.
